Bring Your Own Device

What is a BYOD?

Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) is a parent funded school requirement in which students own and use their own device for use at school and home, enabling a more student-centered, experience-rich education relevant to the 21st Century. BYOD also helps meet the student achievement of the West Australian Curriculum’s General Capabilities.

Students develop skills, work habits, attitudes and expertise that will prepare them for success and help them to become efficient and effective life-long learners. It is therefore essential that students bring a fully charged, working laptop with them to school every day to facilitate their learning.

If you would like to know more about the BYOD Program at Ocean Reef SHS please contact the school on (08) 6206 2700.
